Friday 8 June 2018 at Bramham Horse Trials
The F&I association alongside BHS Yorkshire, will be hosting a study group at Bramham Horse Trials. This group will observe, evaluate and discuss sections of the Burghley Young Event Horse classes, considering what the judge is looking for, the strengths and potentials in the horses and how they will be produced for higher levels.
The group will be led by Nicola Baugley. Nicola first represented GB at the Pony Europeans at the age of 12, winning individual medals at all 3 pony championships she attended, as well as 2 Young Rider championship medals. On her 18th birthday she received a yearling colt called Mill Law as a gift. This sparked what has become a lifelong interest in breeding and producing young horses. Mill Law won a number of Burghley Young Event Horse qualifiers – including the prestigious Bramham class. He went on to sire a number of 4* event horses and an Olympic horse. Nicola now focuses her breeding and production on the grassroots market, breeding her TB mares with Conemarra stallion Glencarrig Diamond.
The study group will observe sections of both the 4 and 5yo classes. A light picnic lunch is also planned. Timings to be confirmed.
F&I Members £12 (inc lunch)
Non Members £17
Normal entry fees to Bramham will apply.
