Autumn Newsletter 2007
Dear F and I Members,
Once again the winter is creeping closer – outdoor lights are on and there is a panic about enough oil for the house.
However there is a real bonus in the various conferences now held by the various disciplines over the winter. At first glance, it is difficult to see which to attend. However once we get into January there is an obvious answer – the F&I Association’s Annual Course, together with the AGM and dinner, is a “MUST ATTEND!”
We are delighted and honoured to have captured Carl Hester and Di Lampard for January’s two wonderful training days. With such high-powered and internationally famous names, no further introductions are necessary! Places to ride will be in short supply and will be on a first come and paid basis. The three disciplines have been invited to send their Level IV coaches to join our Association members watching and discussing – what an inspirational way to start 2008.
Looking further ahead to February 19th, the Association has a unique veterinary day booked at Hartpury College. This day will be open to members of the Association and their friends and guests. It is very important to book this day off now – postpone or even give up that skiing trip and come to Hartpury! Please see the poster in the newsletter regarding this day.
I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at Addington for our annual bash.
And even if you can’t make the course and AGM, do let me have your views on how we go forward in 2008 and 2009, with a phone call or email – or even drop me an old-fashioned note!
