F & I Christmas Newsletter
Dear F&I Member,
As we approach the celebration of Christmas, I hope each one of you is well and that your families, staff and clients are also safe and healthy.
Then we welcome in the New Year 2021, and looking at our Facebook page following the cancellation of our Annual Course, so many of you, including myself, are looking forward to ‘kicking 2020 out of the door’.
The cancellation of the Annual Course was something neither Ann nor myself wanted to happen and we fought hard to keep that show on the road. However, when Chris Parker (Addington Manor EC) told Ann he would not open till the spring then that was it. I’d like to thank all those of you who took the time to email, Facebook or text your thoughts. Ann, Alison and myself are warmed by your very positive comments – thank you. We had kind offers of other venues, ‘Thank you’. However after much discussion it was decided that the magic of our Course is the camaraderie, whether watching the coaches doing what they do so brilliantly, mingling in the cafe or chatting at the evening dinner. Roll on January 2022 and 2023. Ann is working her own spells to ensure the Coaches are able to return.
Jude will be setting up the AGM via a Zoom meeting – there’s a first time for everything! You’ve had all the AGM details attached to emails already – and detailed zoom information and another reminder email will follow in due course. Same date and time for your diaries.
